Megan, I love everything about this.
I absolutely love the intimate and adventurous day you're envisioning. Beginning at Glacier Point before sunrise would be such a beautiful way to start, followed by exchanging vows surrounded by your parents, siblings, and closest friends. Whether you choose the Yosemite Chapel or a scenic location that feels most meaningful once you're there, the setting will be incredible. Every corner of Yosemite feels like a dream, and exploring some of its most iconic locations together afterward will make the morning even more special.
Because you'll already be legally married, your ceremony can remain simple, personal, and completely focused on the two of you. You might choose the Chapel or exchange vows at Glacier Point, Tunnel View, El Capitan Meadow, Cathedral Beach, or another location you fall in love with along the way. From there, we can create a relaxed route through the park, allowing time for portraits with your guests before continuing the adventure together.
I've thoughtfully designed the collections in this proposal around the locations you shared and the half-day experience you described. Each option includes your ceremony, family and guest portraits, and time to explore Yosemite. The longer collections simply give us more breathing room for parking, walking, resting, lingering somewhere you love, and fully enjoying the morning without feeling rushed.
My goal is not only to create beautiful photographs, but to make sure you have time to be present, sit together on the granite rocks, take in the views, and truly experience the day you've been imagining.
Warmly, Maggie
