it all started in an island

I unintentionally discovered my love of photography in 2008. I was making a trip to Maui and Lanai and wanted a little point and shoot to document my trip. That was it. That was all it took. I was in love, hooked, obsessed and in love. There was no going back. I realized I was seeing the world differently. When I got home and saw the images, I felt something I couldn’t shake — those photographs didn’t just show what happened, they brought me right back to how it felt.

Today, I photograph weddings, families, and real life as it unfolds — not stiff or overly posed, but emotional, intimate, and true. I’m drawn to connection, movement, laughter, quiet pauses, and the beautifully imperfect moments in between. The goal is always the same: images that feel like you, and that will mean even more years from now than they do today.

What began as a vacation photo in 2008 turned into a lifelong love — and I’m endlessly grateful to document stories that matter.
